Al Muhajirun
He was supposed to be a traveller
A traveller in search of help
In search of knowledge
Knowledge to fill his emptiness
Empty stomach and smelly skin
Skin so dirty he lacks tahara
He lacks everything, even what he came for
He came for knowledge he never got
Never got food
Never got health care
Never got a proper bed to sleep
Sleeps in the open
In the open at the mercy of the elements
I walk beside him every day
Al Muhajirun without an Ansar
Will I be his Ansar?
Will you?
